Earlier this year Ten2Eleven worked with The
University of California, Davis
to develop CottonFormatics, a research consolidation application designed to
capture and enable analysis of current and historical farming data from a
variety of sources. The solution was
implemented in April and within weeks preliminary research findings showed
several areas where farmers and pest control advisors could increase yields and
operating margins by reducing certain pesticide applications and placing greater
emphasis on pest management in specific crop varieties. Early estimates place annual cost
savings in the millions of dollars in the cotton industry alone.

Almost a decade ago the founding members of Ten2Eleven spent much of their time solving complex technical issues for one of the largest
hauling companies in the United States. After several years in the waste industry, the founders decided to expand their business focus and formed Ten2Eleven Business Solutions.
Since then, the company has added several team members with extensive experience in the Technological and Operational sides of the waste management business.
We are extremely excited to announce our re-entry into the industry, having recently signed a technical support contract with Fernley, Nevada hauler TrashPros.

November 2008
The University of California, Davis, Department of Entomology recently initiated a study on behalf of Cotton Incorporated and the US Department of Agriculture regarding insect population
densities known to adversely affect cotton crop production. The project required a significantly larger statistical population of insect related information than could be managed by research staff using basic data management solutions. To resolve the issue, the department
contracted Ten2Eleven to develop a technology solution that allows consolidation, standardization and statistical analysis of the data it collects and receives. Ten2Eleven is currently
constructing a research consolidation solution that will allow University staff to reduce project overhead and streamline processes through automated data up load and standardization, configurable data management user interfaces and parameterized reporting and analysis.
